These apps typically offer something special that is missing from low-cost project management apps, though what exactly they offer varies. Second are apps with a midrange price tag. Some examples are Zoho Projects and GanttPro. While it's difficult to compare the price of project management apps, you can think of them as falling into three tiers.įirst are apps that cost roughly $10 per person per month, which are usually well suited to small businesses. The price for Teamwork has slowly and steadily gone up over the last few years. This plan provides more storage space, unlimited team members and projects, premium support, a dedicated account manager, and other enterprise-grade features. Teams of 100 people or more need a Scale account and can contact the company for information and a price quote. It also includes 50 project templates, burndown reports, project time budgets, custom fields, change history, and all the integrations supported by Teamwork. This account comes with everything in Deliver and increases the storage to 250GB and projects to 600. The Grow service costs $25.99 per person per month or $239.88 per person per year with a minimum of five people. This account also comes with unlimited collaborators and clients and the ability to manage project-level teams, but not company-level teams or subteams. This plan comes with everything in the Deliver account and increases the file storage to 100GB and the number of projects to 300. That puts the actual starting cost at either $70 per month or $600 per year, plus more for every additional team member. The Deliver account costs $13.99 per person per month or $120 per person per year, and it requires a minimum of five people. You get more integration options: Google Drive, Box, OneDrive Personal, Dropbox, Microsoft Office and Teams, Harvest, QuickBooks, Xero (but not HubSpot), OneDrive Business, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project. You're limited to 100 projects, 50GB of storage, and you get access to webhooks (automated messages sent between two connected apps). For a team of three, that's $26.97 per month or $216 per year. The newly added Starter account costs $8.99 per person per month or $71.88 per person per year, and it requires three people minimum. Nor can you integrate with any other apps but Zapier, an online service that lets you connect Teamwork to Trello, Google Sheets, Slack, and other services. You get most of the core features that come with the other account types, but not billing and invoicing, project templates, task templates, client users, collaborators, advanced team management features, the ability to invite clients to have limited access to projects, or a few other features. The free account supports five people and two projects at a time, with 100MB of storage space for files. To get a Free Forever account, you must sign up for the service, start the Grow trial, and then cancel Grow. When you sign up for an account, you automatically get a 30-day trial of the Grow service with no credit card required. Teamwork has five account types: Free Forever (no payment details required), Starter ($8.99 per person per month with a 3 person minimum) Deliver ($13.99 per person per month, 3 person minimum), Grow ($25.99 per person per month, 5 person minimum), and an enterprise plan called Scale (custom pricing). GanttPro is also wonderful for small teams, including those that have limited or no prior experience with project management, because the app is so easy to use. Zoho Projects is exceptionally well suited to small and growing teams on a budget. Teamwork is an Editors' Choice winner for project management, alongside Zoho Projects and GanttPro. It has powerful tools for helping project managers or business owners keep an eye on people's time and workload, know when deadlines are in danger of slipping, send invoices to clients for billable work, and more. It includes billing and invoicing, making it ideal for groups who primarily handle client work. This excellent online platform eases many of the pains of managing projects and all their milestones and tasks by giving team members a clear interface with all the tools they need. With Teamwork, one of our top-rated project management apps, it feels less complicated. Project management is so complex that you can spend two years getting a master's degree in the subject.
